CHRISTMAS EVE PARTAYY(:

To all republicans,

You are cordially invited to a Christmas Party at the Quick residence on the eve of christmas. 24th of december, after 4pm.
Menu for the day:

mac and cheese
honey black pepper ham
country style meat loaf
german pork knuckle(:
mee siam(:
finger food
lasagna[aunty jackie]
salad[aunty jackie]

That will be all, if you would like to bring any food, PLEASE check the menu first.

p.s just come with an empty stomach to enjoy the food and the spirit of CHRISTMAS!

do you know I can always remember the date of your wedding anniversary? i remember it fell on the last day of school when i was in p5. since then i've always remembered it, and every year on 21 nov i'll tell mummy, it's your wedding anniversary. Happy 11th anniversary! and it's so cute that mei mei thinks that baby with shades looks like gugu. (:

Jolyn Cried Her Heart Out

Today on the way home from school, she told me that "if Sri din go back, Uliyah won't come then won't hv chance to give papa wrong medicine...then papa won't die"...then she started to cry very sadly. I told her "Jesus brought papa to heaven to enjoy his fruits" but she said "I'm still so young." I told her that if she feels like crying ... then jux cry...then she started to cry very loud and very sad. I told her that at this moment we might not know the real purpose why Jesus has to bring u away so soon...but I'm sure we will know the answer one day. I know she has all these questions in her head but I told her...we all miss u. Whenever we feel and want u to come back...we hv to think whether we want u to suffer and continue to endure the pain. I reminded her that she granted Jesus permission to bring u away cos she dun wan daddy to suffer..dun wan daddy in pain. She drew a picture of our wedding and then top right corner...u became an angel already cos u have gone to heaven.

She will look at the sky at night and she told me that there is one star very bright and big. She told me that this star is daddy. Whenever we go NTUC, she will look for that star and make sure this star follows us to central. She feels that you are watching over us like a star. She agrees that what we have now are all the happy memories of daddy.

We miss u.

though ur daddy's gone to heaven, he will still be your heart. he is in mine too, constantly. did mummy tell you how ur papa helped me during my exams when i had mental block? no matter where ur daddy is, be it a star or a guardian angel, we still love him all the same. there are many people around who care for and love you too, like ME!haha. so, you must smile everyday and tell the brightest star in the sky(DADDY), you're doing fine and that he don't need to worry about you.

i love you too! and i've always loved your papa and will always love him, no matter where he is. you know, everytime i see beautiful things in germany, like the amazing sunsets i can see from my room, i also believe that your daddy is accompanying me everywhere i go! your drawings are so lovely! must show me the real ones when i go back to singapore okay? Jolyn dear,

Daddy is never far away from you because he is in our heart always. He will be sad to see you so upset. All the jie jies, kor kors, yi-yis, aunties and uncles loves you and your mei mei very much too so it pains us to see you cry. We know you are a strong and sensible princess and we will always be so proud of you! Cadence loves her Jolyn yi-yi too! :)

Connie Jie Jie is right. Your daddy is never far...he is always in your heart and everywhere you go. He is looking down at you everyday and every night, just like the day you were at Disneyland.
